Please join the San Francisco Human Rights Commission, San Francisco State University, and community partners for a Summer Equity Summit, Resolution, Revolution & R-E-S-P-E-C-T, moving from words to action in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love and Aretha Franklin’s “Respect.” Participate in workshops, learn strategies of engagement, and hear community perspectives on the pressing equity issues of our time. Work with renowned author D. Watkins, listen to Black Lives Matter Co-founder Alicia Garza, and recharge with compelling performances, workshops, and youth presentations. Refreshments and lunch provided, with a networking reception and mixer to follow after the day’s programming.
