This year’s Summit revolves around “My Existence is Resistance: We are the Ones We’ve Been Waiting For!”

What changes are coming to District 11, and how will it affect our communities? What will it mean to resist gentrification and displacement, and what will it take to fight back?

How can we continue to organize and build people power in our neighborhood, and ensure that working class, immigrant, youth and elders of color continue to thrive?

This year, CUHJ will be celebrating the milestones and victories of our powerful community through political education, a panel of local advocates and activists, and action-oriented community planning.

This event is open to all community members of all ages!

We will have free food, and fun-filled childcare.

Spanish, Chinese and Tagalog translation will be provided.

Location: Balboa High School Green Room (Entrance on Oneida and Otsego)
Time: 10am-2pm
