Alana (they/she) is a Frisco native, born and raised. Ever since she was little, she’s been observant of the injustices around her, leading her to ask questions and interrogate the root causes of social, political, and economic problems in the City (that have only continued to worsen.) She studied sociology and public policy in college, where her studies + general interests included everything concerning political education, cultural + community-oriented work, internationalism, and anti-imperialism. She is very optimistic that a better world is possible. During their free time, they are reading, watching movies, or traveling. Open to book + movie recs!
