Alondra is a Chicago native, she is a Latina of Mexican descent. She was raised in a low-income household in a mixed status family and that has fueled her dedication to different social issues such as immigration justice, education equity, and youth empowerment. Alondra is a first-generation college graduate from the University of San Francisco where she studied Politics and Chicanx-Latinx Studies. Before coming to Coleman, Alondra has worked in different nonprofit and community spaces mostly focused on immigration justice and youth mentorship and education. In her free time Alondra focuses on her creative hobbies such as candle-making and pop-ups, creating coffee recipes, attending art events, and exploring new places.
