Coleman participated in this press conference organized by Californians for Justice (www.caljustice.org) last week in Sacramento for Assembly Bill 2820. The legislation will further racial and educational equity by creating a one-time $100 million pool to resource and support Community and Engagement and School Climate through the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF). Bill 2820 will also ensure that districts and schools have the tools to make sure students and families are engaged in improving their schools and are regularly surveyed about safety, climate and relationships on their campuses. #DefendAndMend
