Trump Administration Removes Temporary Protected Status from Salvadoran Immigrants

California – Earlier today, the Trump administration announced that by September 9, 2019, they would end temporary immigration status for Salvadorans, the largest group of TPS beneficiaries in the country. The move to end the program will affect over 260,000 Salvadoran nationals by placing them under direct threat of deportation.
CIYJA defends the rights of all immigrants, and stands against Trump’s extended attacks on immigrant communities who will continue to face the consequences of the administration’s senseless actions.
